Private Sector and Government Over-the-Month Job Gains Below Post-Recession Average (PDF)
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in Arizona was 7.9% in April, for the third consecutuve month. The U.S. seasonally adjusted unemployment rate decreased one-tenth of a percentage point from 7.6% in March to 7.5% in April. Arizona Employment Growth Continues on a Slower Track; Improvement in 2013 and 2014 (PDF)
The Office of Employment and Population Statistics (EPS) within the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) is forecasting gradual gains in Nonfarm employment in Arizona for the 2013-2014 projections time period. A total of 97,700 Nonfarm jobs are forecast to be gained over the two projected years (2013 & 2014).
